– Job Role : Digital Operations Manager
Be the primary relationship owner with Chelsea’s digital development partner agency
Budgetary ownership and management for the department
Lead ideation workshops and the requirements gathering process with key stakeholders of the Club
Liaise with in-house Insight Team to derive and deliver test & learn backlog for new and existing app features with a view to driving enhancements in quality and performance
Liaise with in-house digital product leads to deliver app, web and data product road-maps
Drive agency relationship and processes to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
Liaise with internal stakeholders including, but not limited to, the Marketing, Finance, Commercial and Communication teams around processes
Support in the process of product output including design, development, review, approval and release
Ensuring product and feature releases are distributed in a timely fashion and any downtime limited
Regular reporting on budgets, road-maps and processes
Production and ownership of digital product road-map collateral for monthly senior stakeholder meetings
Review, distribute and ensure timely approvals of agency statements of work and purchase orders
Exemplary operational management skills – preferably 5 years or more experience in managing complex digital and data delivery programmes
Strong background in managing third party agencies and stakeholders
Experience managing budgets, invoices, SOWs and POs
Understanding of the SDLC and agile methodologies and ability to implement best practise
An excellent communicator who can grapple with technical details
Ability to multitask under time constraints and not compromise quality
Self-starter who thrives on solving complex business challenges
Experience of collaboration tools, e.g. Slack and Atlassian suite
