Job function: This is an exciting and unique opportunity with Chelsea FC Facilities department. In this role you will be responsible for the day to day management with a focus on hard services and projects. This role will deputise for the Head of Facilities when required, Responsible for all compliance and management systems, ensuring that they are followed and compliance levels are maintained and improved. Manage and take responsibility for project work at all CFC properties ensuring that projects are completed on time on budget.

Main Responsibilities

To lead and develop the technical services team ensuring that all maintenance and projects are delivered to the highest standard possible
To deputise the Head of facilities, leading on operations and project management.
Comply with CDM 2015 regulations
Ensure that all staff and contractors adhere to the site H&S policies and to comply with relevant legislation in all works carried out
Ensure that all compliance aspects of the department are met and effectively managed including the completion of all remedial statutory works
To work with the other departments and line managers to ensure that the departments services are delivered meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
To be customer focused, with a can do attitude
To manage all capex and opex budgets associated to the technical services department
Look to improve and innovate all areas of the department
To use performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed SLA’s and to lead on improvement
To oversee all projects to ensure that they are delivered to the highest standards and are completed on time within assigned budgets
To attend match-days as required to support the operation of the stadium
Provide reports on work progress and financial performance as required
To liaise with statutory authorities to ensure legal compliance
Manage budgets, warranties and commercial agreements with suppliers and contractors
To work with the procurement team to produce scoping documentation leading to tender and selection processes
Measures of Performance:

All projects and maintenance are completed safely on time and on budget
Ensures SLA and KPI’s are met and managed
Encourages a motivated and committed team environment
Satisfaction of stakeholders during and upon completion of projects
Budgets are managed in accordance with company policy
Ensure all contractors are monitored and managed appropriately
Ensures full legal compliance of all facilities operations
Personal Specification:

Circa 5 years’ experience working in the facilities industry, working in a similar environment or large scale estate.
Experience line managing and developing established maintenance teams
Extensive project management experience and knowledge of CDM 2015
Extensive knowledge and experience of building services and building construction
Membership of CIBSE/IWFM or an equivalent institute.
H&S qualified (NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent)
Engineering qualifications either to a C&G or HNC level
Experience Managing CAFM systems
Able to manage commercial arrangements with suppliers and contractors Contract management)
Adaptable and self-motivated
Able to manage internal relationships and expectations
Places H&S at the forefront of any project
Flexibility to work according to the football season and work requirements
Experience working to meet tight deadlines, under pressure.
Forward thinking with ability to anticipate problems
Good communication skills
Self-motivated and good team worker

Experience working in a stadium environment
To act as the HV authorised person on match days
