DEPARTMENT: Chelsea FC Women’s Department
REPORTING TO: RTC Centre Manager/RTC Technical Director
JOB FUNCTION: To work within the Chelsea FC Women’s Regional Talent Centre, and deliver high quality football specific sessions within the age group highlighted.
Working Hours: 6 to 10 hours of delivery per week, plus match day responsibilities on a Saturday. Training session are delivered on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening. All training sessions and home match days will take place at the Chelsea FC Training ground, Cobham, KT11 3PT.
To deliver high quality sessions to the RTC U14 Squad.
To plan sessions according to the ability of the current players and aligning with the technical document.
To work with the age group Assistant Coach, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Medical Lead and Goalkeeping Coach, when planning the delivery of sessions.
To feedback all statistics such as player availability, injury records, and match score etc. to the RTC Manager.
To report any safeguarding concerns to both the RTC Manager and RTC Welfare Officer.
To liaise with all parents based upon last minute changes to training, player availability etc.
To lead on all players IDP’s and target setting meetings.This will be done in accordance of the RTC Technical Director.
MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE:
Ability to deliver sessions in accordance with RTC Technical document and with guidance from the RTC Technical Director.
To keep an up to date database, recording all relevant information; such as Player availability, positions played, minutes played, results, goals, assists etc.
Delivery of high quality sessions, falling in line with FA requirements and elite level players’ ability.
Well-groomed and presented.
Minimum of a UEFA B licence qualification, as highlighted for the role by the FA.
Previous experience within female football. Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism.
Have a charismatic personality.
Ability to working within a team environment.
Experience in working alongside others and ability to lead on delivery of sessions.
