The Liverpool Football Club Foundation is the official charity of Liverpool Football Club. We raise funds, develop partnerships and deliver high impact programmes that engage young people through their passion for Liverpool Football Club and football, helping them to improve their health, skills and life chances.

As the Open Goals Co-ordinator you`ll be supporting the growth of the `Open Goals` Project by promoting Open Goals sessions to a variety of communities across Merseyside, increasing our number of delivery sites. Your focus will also be on recruiting, training, supporting, developing and liaising with coaches and volunteer staff on a day to day basis.
You will achieve quality delivery across the project through providing regular CPD and a quality assurance framework and developing coaches through effective feedback and evaluation. This is a collaborative role where you will work with community groups and grassroots sports clubs to develop coaching pathways. Working in this role you will also oversee operational matters such as checking venues, creating risk assessments and completing health and safety paperwork.

To be successful in this role you will be great at building relationships with stakeholders and able work collaboratively. You will be motivated and have and have the enthusiasm to inspire young people and volunteers.
This position is offered on a fixed term contract for 18 months subject to funding and involves working 35 hours per week, 5 from 7 days with some weekend work required. The role is based at Anfield Sports Community Centre, Liverpool however the post holder will also be required to work from other locations across Merseyside.
