Main Purpose of Job:

To assist the Football Development officer in the planning, delivery and evaluation of the female football development programme.  This will consist of holiday courses, school club links, advanced player development centres, partner club programme and the BTEC Football and Education programme

The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, promotion and delivery of a high-quality female football development programme.
Main Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities

Project Planning and Delivery

·Head coach of the Port Vale BTEC Ladies Football and Education programme team, playing in the EFL and AOC leagues.

·Delivery of extra-curricular football clubs, soccer schools, Saturday morning football, skill centres and advanced player development centres, ensuring quality and standardisation of our offer.

·Lead coach for all other female football development related activity.

Work with the football development officer to devise an action plan to facilitate the Football Development department, Foundation and PVFC girls age groups providing appropriate exit routes for talented individuals.
Lead by example by creating exceptional session delivery plans and delivering to the highest standards at all times
To be able to give first aid treatment where necessary
To ensure the correct procedures are adopted in the event of an emergency
To collect and record course data
To ensure all equipment is used in a safe and proper manner
To ensure the safety of participants at all times
Strategy and Partnerships

Work with other club and Foundation departments (e.g. school sports, Inclusion Officer) to ensure effective awareness and cross-selling across PVFC Foundation projects and activities
·Lead delivery on the Partner Club initiative to link with local grassroots football clubs, linking in to the PVFC Foundation girls and ladies age groups.

·Establish and maintain relationships with football venues and facilities across Staffordshire.

Staff Management and Training

Ensure a positive and progressive culture through good communication, training and motivational leadership.
To undertake and staff CPD when required.
Attend and support any related staff meetings.

Marketing and Promotion

Promote all aspects of the Football Development offer.
Work closely and effectively with the Foundation SMT to maximise the opportunity to cross-sell football development activities to those attending school and extra-curricular programmes.
Support the annual recruitment of learners for the BTEC Football and Education programme through strong partnerships with local schools and grassroots football clubs.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Financial Management

·Monitor attendances and provide regular activity reports.
