Job Purpose
To support the media and communications department within Wigan Athletic Football Club in producing highly engaging and regular video content for the club’s supporters, with a key focus on innovation and creativity in nhancing the digital journey for our users.

Key responsibilities and duties
 Produce innovative, engaging and high-quality video content for use across Wigan Athletic’s website, social media channels and official app
 Work with media and communications department to maintain a video library of historical and current club footage
 Aid the media and communications department in content planning to enhance organisation via a content calendar
 Assist other club departments such as Community Trust and Academy with promotional videos to help continue the growth of the club
 Film special packages at home and away fixtures unique to regular post-match interviews/highlights
 Take responsibility for deadline management, consistency, accuracy and quality of videos
 Manage the workflow of requests for all filmed content from all areas of the business and ensure work is delivered to brief and on time
 Executing sound treatments including music editing, mixing and audio mastering

Health and Safety
 Fully endorse, demonstrate and carry out the company health and safety policy.
 Comply with all Company policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in your work place, and assist if required with the amending of risk assessments periodically.
 Have a full knowledge of procedures for evacuation with regard to fire.
 Identify and report maintenance requirements or hazards within the workplace and encourage any workforce to do the same to avoid injury.
